Don't book rooms if you are worried about refunds - Two months ago I cancelled three reservations for hotel rooms in New Zealand. I followed the policy only to have the company continue to not refund my money and stall by making excuses like due to SARS (No cases reported in New Zealand) and my credit card company could take 14 to 45 days to process, which is not true.

Since cancelling I have noticed that the internet name and address has changed and and now the company does not respond to my e-mails. The parent company (that receives your payment) is based in Thailand, so do not expect to be able to contact anyone directly. BEWARE!
