Well, my problems with Audi of Henderson began shortly in the purchasing process. Of course, they were all very nice during the initial selection of the vehicle. They offered me a price for the used A4 and I went home, thought about it, and then e-mailed them back with an offer that I thought they would not take. To my surprise, they went ahead and accepted.

My problems began when I went in to see the finance manager, Patrick Scheidecker, and sign the papers. Previously, he had really wanted to sell me on an extended warranty, but I did not think it was worth the addfitional $1500 for 2 years. While signing the preliminary sales agreement, he was a real a-hole, to say the least, and let us know in no uncertain terms that he was rather displeased about letting that car go at that price without the pre-certification. He was unfriendly, unhelpful, insincere, and treated me like someone unworthy of his time. Upon returning 2 days later to finalize the sale and take possession of the car, I decided to go ahead and take the warranty after all. I went ahead and took the warranty with the Manager, Jim Digiulio, and thought everything was working out well.

Fast forward one year. Keep in mind that during the past year, I did not receive any finalized sales agreement, copy of the certified warranty or even a Thank You card that I figured was just customary on any car purchase. There was no followup at all. Okay Fast forward a year and on New Years Day, My car began running funny and was experiencing a loss of power. I decided to take my car to Desert Audi on West Sahara because it was much closer to my house and I remembered the ADDITIONAL negative experience with Patrick at Audi of Henderson once shortly after the purchase. Negative experience = he grabbed keys out of my hand when Henderson service writer asked him a question about my car. He was a real jerk to me after I brought car in for service during my first 30 days of purchase. It was then, I vowed to never go back to Audi of Henderson and after a suggestion from a friend who owns a German car shop, I emailed Digiulio about the mistreatment from Patrick. Digiulio basically blew me off and replied with a quick response that didn't address the poor customer service or even an apology -he said he would get back to me and never did.

Okay back to one year later, so I pull in, thinking I was completely covered by warranty in the event that there was anything wrong with the car. Well, lo and behold, my extended warranty was not in their computer system. The service people at Desert called up Henderson and Mr. Personality, Patrick got on the phone and claimed that I had not purchased a single thing, and that I had come in with a big, intimidating man and had flat out denied everything extra they offered to me there in the finance office. This smarmy, condescending little car salesman more or less called me a liar. We asked for a fax of the copy of the purchase agreement, and they informed us that they would have to go to another building to get it. I had previously called that a.m and Niko said he was going to pull the contract but I guess Patrick decided that was unnecessary and just went on his incorrect assumption. After taking their sweet time to get the contract(like 2 or 3 hours), they went ahead and pulled the contract and it turns out I was telling the truth and had indeed purchased the extended warranty. They just had not bothered to send in the paperwork to Audi. These people did not even bother to offer a sincere apology, neither from Patrick or from Jim Digiulio, who was also extremely condescending and insincere when I called him and explained that I had been waiting. My purchase wasn't fancy nor highend but none the less it was a purchase of an Audi product. My family has had Audi vehicle's since I can remember and I grew up with them. The treatment that I received was unacceptable and the negative experience will continue to be shared, unfortunately.

Take your chances where you may, but I would have some serious hesitations before doing business with Audi of Henderson.
