Audiofile Home Theater looks just like the Dogg Digital speaker scam
This scam looks just like the Dogg Digital speaker scam. These guys in an expedition yell at me in the parking lot of walmart saying that they have some speakers to get rid of. The same story as the Dogg Digital scam- they deliver speakers and they got extras this time. They said if they don't get rid of them now, then their boss will take them home for himself.
I haven't tried the speakers yet, but I assume they're not going to work or will work poorly. These guys drove a green ford expedition, license plate DJT-5347.

Hello-
Just wanted to let you know that I was also approached by a guy here in Austin, TX, driving a SUV, with 3 pairs of these speakers in the back. He stated that the speakers ("AudioFile 830LR") were valued at $1599 each, but these were extras and that they would be returned to his boss if he could not sell them. I have been approached by people in trucks offering to sell speakers before, so I was immediately skeptical about this offer. He was a smooth talker, more persuasive than the usual back-of-the-truck-speakers ripoff entrepeneurs, and he almost had me believing that they were worth more than pocket change. However, I am somewhat of an audiophile myself, so I was positive that any high-end speaker company would not choose a generic name like "audiofile." Well, it looks like I was right. Thanks to your site for the quick and easily available information. The information posted here was almost exactly the same experience as I had. Luckily, I was not so easily duped. I hope others will be so lucky.
