So.. i was walking to the bank... minding my own business.. when two dudes in a.. come up to me.. the driver.. a fast talking blonde guy with tats on his arms and wearing a green wife beater says he just came from a delivery... he has to meet up with his boss.. but he has extra speakers from the delivery.. said the same thing happened with a big screen tv.. but that they took it to the boss.. he gave them each twenty bucks to stay quiet.. so he pitches me these speakers at being 1300 bucks a piece and says ill sell them to you for some "party money" for me and my friend.
I said dude.. just go pawn them.. he said.. we are state curriers and that by law will be arrested trying to pawn stuff.. i was like.. hmmm... so then i said.. whats the lowest you will take for two of em.. he says... lowest i can go is three bills.. i thought.. hell .. ill turn around and sell em and help pay off my credit card debt... but i said.. ok... i want to see the warranty papers... i want to see everything you can possibly show me.. sure enough..
he had the speakers in a magazine.... he had a warranty card and he even gave me a number i need for the warranty card... that was enough proof for me.. i mean these guys were good.. the side kick really didnt say much of anything.. the black said it all.. he acted just like "my best friend" so he says..ill take you to the bank.. and wait for you.. then ill give you a lift home..
so then.. he does just that... and the worst part about this is when i went into the bank.. i was flirting with the teller chick.. and she even said.. sounds like a scam to me.. and i said naw.. i think they are ligit.. yeah.. im really smart... so anyway.. i go back out there.. sure enough they are there... and give me the lift home.. i gave him his money.. he leaves.. i get online to look up the website for these speakers.. and the only thing i get was Rip off this.. scam that.. i was like F*** me..
why god why? so first thing i did was call the cops.. they came over.. .filed a report.. it was basically like selling a three dollar shake for fifty bucks... .. i was actually.. pretty pissed... so.. anyway.. i am their newest victim .. yay... lets just see if they can talk without jaws the next time i run into em.

down visiting my aunt in oakland and was just about to get gas to drive home when 2 guys in a purple excursion flagged me down... i ignored them and went to chevron.
while filling up, they pulled up next to me and we started talking cause i thought they were going to give them to me
usuall... showed invoice, magazine, etc so i went to the bank and pulled out all i had in the bank except for $6. Gave them 180 for the pair and went home to pic up my mom and sister to drive home.
got home and found this website and couldn't sleep that night.
the next day i looked on ebay and found a website with audiofile crap on it called reteaf.com.
called around to some pawn shops and found one that was willing to take a look at them
to make a really long story a bit shorter we put on a sob story and acted like getting only $220 for them was an $80 loss. showed them the site and it was done.
if you still have yrs then try it out who knows if you will be as lucky as me but its worth some effort.
