Complaint Review: Audiofile

I was pulling into a gas station at the grocery store by my bank and 2 guys in a green truck were talking to someone beside me about some speakers they were trying to get rid of because they picked them up and there were too many. They told me a whole story and it sounded odd but they were trying to get rid of the speakers because they had to go meet their boss and could not have them with them. They showed me a receipt of the cost of the speakers for 1500.00 a piece and asked how much I could give them.

I told them all I could give them was 200.00 so they should go sell them to someone else and they said, that's okay..you just owe us. He gave me his cell number and took mine as well. He could not thank me enough and told me I was cool as heck. They kept asking for 50.00 more or 20.00 more for beer or party money too. The one guy said his name was Craig and that this is his 3rd year in college at Austin State University and that he was picking up these speakers for his boss for a bar on 6th street in Austin they are opening up. I fell for it hook line and sinker too. The guys even went into the bank with me to get the money.

I had a weird feeling about this but it happened so fast and I felt bad for the guys cause they didn't know what to do with the speakers and were in a hurry. As soon as I got home I checked google.com for Audiofile speakers and a scam letter popped up. Man!! I was duked too! Hope this helps!
