Complaint Review: Austin Boat Rental

Piss poor organization. FRAUD. Is stealing $1,200 felony larceny in Texas? DON'T TRUST THEM.

I paid to rent a G-25 boat and a jetski for a group event on May 11th from 3-7pm. When I called them to confirm, I was told that they didn't have a record of my rental after they had convieniently already charged my credit card $1,200 for the rental. After a runaround and me trying to accomodate their incompetence with a reschedule, they again admitted their screw-up and texted me that I would get a refund - that STILL hasn't happened. Furthermore, they continue to fight my credit card company over my dispute (Shout out to terrible customer service at Citi also - rhymes with sh^&ty for a reason).

I called ahead of our 3pm reservation - where we had 14 people pumped to hit the lake. When we spoke to this shady business they first claimed that they didn't have record of our rental.... after texting them the contract they "remembered," (convieniently they didn't misplace my $1,200?!?!?) and I tried to accomodate them and my desperate friends by rescheduling but it didn't work. We had planned an entire weekend around that specific boating slot. After Cory and his people gave me the run-around, I finally got a text that I would get a refund on the following Monday, here we are FOUR MONTHS later and not only have they not refunded me, but they are fighting my credit card provider. 

I support small businesses, I do not support thieves. This review won't ever be taken down, but unless I get my money back I will be having the other 13 inconvienienced individuals contribute their own ingeniously worded reviews of this poor excuse for a company. STAY AWAY.
