Complaint Review: Austin Media Group

I was one of the unfortunate people to have handed over $400 (advance purchase price for $500 ticket) to be ripped off by this company.

We were promised photo opportunities with the cast, a souvenir bag (we received toiletries - and this was after someone at my table who received 2 bags gave me one of theirs because the organizers ran out!) and designated seating. I had to stand and wait for a table to be rolled in. We were told gates opened at 5 for 6 pm, but it appeared if you arrived early, you could just walk in, take a seat in the VIP section and for $100 you were getting the same as those who paid up to $1000.

I want a $300 refund. I might as well have bought the $100 ticket, since that's all I received.

And where was this concert being held? I didn't see a concert anywhere.

I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, and whoever else I can think of. I suggest anyone else visiting this site and was cheated out of their money band together.

My ticket was a contract, and it was not honored.
