Austins Affordable Autos Matt Austin, Matthew Austin, Porky, Austin's, Racist Criminal Shocking! Raped by Austin Vancouver, Washington

1 year ago I signed an 18 month contract at Austins Auto's on a 2000 Jeep cherokee.  The initial buying experience was a nightmare, The staff at Austins (including the owner) ALL appear to have some sort of either mental or drug problem, Or who knows, maybe both!

The sticker price on My Jeep was $4,500 I put $1,500 down, and the same day I bought it I had to put it in the shop because it wouldn't make it off the lot! it was a fairly minor repair to make this vehicle run, so I agreed to pay for it so now in order to drive this vehicle off the lot i have put $1,700 into this Jeep! That was hardly the end of repairs! the first 2 weeks into this Jeep I replaced The head gasgits, The heads, the breaks, the rotors, 4 new tires, shock towers, shocks... the list go's on... So it has been 1 year now and I have missed not 1 payment!

I notified Austins that my payment would be 5 days late, And Austins said that was no problem at all, Just be prepared to pay there oh so ridiculous $20 per day late fee! so as irratated as i was that after being such a patient loyal customer I Was being treated like this, I had no choice but to agree. THEN 3 days before the day we had arranged my payment to be made Austins REPOES my car! Mind you at this point I have only 5 payments left on this jeep and thousands into it! when the repoe man shows up I was on my way to get my children from school, and they go to school out of district so it takes me nearly one hour to get to them!!!

I was sure that there must have been some mistake! So I called to ask why they sent repoe people when they knew I had made arrangments? The WT So called "manager on duty" wile Mr. Austin was behind bars again, Litterly Laughed! and said "it happens to be my legal right!" I was utterly shocked! I was not even a week late! AND i made arangments with them! i started crying, not knowing how I was going to get my kids! I begged the lady to at least let me get my kids. She said in a very snoty voice " it's not my job to care about kids!" So needless to say My husband and I were LIVID! and we went to the dealership the very next day and said we have had it with this dealership and we want a payoff amount on the vehicle, the payoff we were givin was consistent with our records.

When we came in to talk with the Mr. Matthew Austin and offer the funds, he DENIED payment and said there must be some confusion we actually owe $3,500!!!!!!

Now tell me how that happens when 1 year ago the sticker price was $4,500 and we haven't missed 1 payment?! Mr. Austin blantently told us his house is in reposession and anyone who is even 1 day late is getting repoed! and apparently having a couple thousand dollars added to their contract as well! Our Jeep now sits on the Lot with a sticker price on it for $5,999! this is the THIRD time they have repoed that Jeep from a customer who was close to paying it off!

Needless to say My husband and I are taking the money we were going to use for the pay off and getting an attorney! So that is how they keep a inventory! they wait for you to be 1 day late then they repoe your car!

BE CAREFULL DON'T THROW YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AWAY AT AUSTINS! WE WILL ALSO BE CONTACTING THE NEWS AND WE ARE IN THE WORKS OF FORMING A VERY LARGE PICITING GROUP! HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!! :) MR. AUSTIN YOU HAVE RIPPED OFF THE WRONG PEOPLE THIS TIME MY FRIEND! PEOPLE MIGHT LIKE TO TAKE IT IN THE a*s IN THE JOINT, BUT WE CIVILIANS DON'T TAKE IT LIKE THAT!

Consumer Suggestions are actually from the company posing as a consumer

This consumer is very obviously one of the companies flunkies. The consumer reported never being late and was repoed for one late payment 13 moths into the 18 month contract. Additionally, He did make ligitamate payment arrangements. This company is litterally run by crooks with real criminal records. They only take cash downpayments because they know they are selling cars that won't even make it 2 weeks.

AVOID THIS COMPANY they also charge 29.9% interest and make you sign paperwork that says they basically can come take the car whenever they want.

Hello,  I have just a small comment.  It looks though as the customer feels ripped off due to the repo obviously. Howvever the customer should realize when they sign an agreement they are obligated to follow through on their commitments ie; make payments on time till pay off.  And also know what they are liable for when not meeting the agreement. Not making payments on time = getting your item taken away.  Looks as though the company worked with them on multiple occasions.  And end the end were done with the cusotmer late behavior and decided to take their product back. And of course the company wants the item back.  I am sure they want the cusotmer to have ownership but in the end to make more money it is also an opportunity to make more money but the customer going deliquent and they get to turn their inventory over again. So to all of those people out there with hate towards the company know that this is their business and how they opporate to make money. It says it in the agreement. You pay you own. You dont pay you dont own.

If this woman has so much money to sue, then why not pay bills on time? So what is the basis of this alleged suit? If the story is exactly what you said then the dealer did a repo because you failed to make payments on time. No case here. Time to grow up and be responsible and pay your bills on time. Maybe your subprime thinking needs new "gasgitts" and definitely new "breaks".

this is a pack of lies. this customer had been late 5 times on 5 payments. had acrued 119 days of late fees. we finally repoed his vehicle and offered to meet him in court. jeep was in perfect working order when sold, and they drove it for 10 mos. This customers credit required he use in house financing and he handled this bill in the same fashion that got him bad credit to begin with and that resulted in his repo..  we loaned him money to buy a car and sold him a great one. he didnt pay us what he borrowed and cried wolf when we repoed our collateral .

we still invite him to court... if he were in the right dont you suppose he would wanna go to court instead of the internet?    hmmm

So sounds like you fixed up their POS, made payments for a year, then they take it back and try to sell it for a profit.

These must be the LOWEST OF THE LOW, and for a used car dealer THAT'S PRETTY LOW.

Never try to make arrangements with one of these leaches, that just puts the repo plan in motion in their "head".  Just hide the vehicle until you have received a receipt for your payment.  That means not driving it there to make your payment also.

If you cant make your payment and repo is inevitable, make sure to put alot of sand (or better)- metal shavings in the oil fill, powersteering fill, trans fill, differential (if possible) and of course the radiator (careful, could be hot!).  Also make sure the gas is really low, and cut the sides of the tires, (after you curb all the rims).

Good luck to you!
