Complaint Review: Australia Elgardo UK Lottery - Angela Bolton - David Scott

It all began with an email from Angela Bolton which stated: your name & email address attached to ticket number 27522465896-6453 with serial number 3772-554 drewdrew lucky numbers that won in the 2ND category. You are the winner of $1,750,000.00. I was informed that 10% of your lottery winnings will go to UK BONDS AND CREDITORS.

To begin my claim, I had to contact Dr. David Scott via his email with ticket number, ticket serial number and my lucky numbers. I did this and was informed by Dr. Scott to send by fax my Drivers license, telephone, fax number, and your full address. I did this and he contacted me by phone.

The next thing I did was to send a sum of $1600 which was an insurance fee. With much reluctance, I sent the money to a lawyer in England via Money Gram from WalMart.

Dr. Scott informed me that the check was ready to be sentafter receiving the money, but customs wanted a bill of certified health from me and to send $2500 to settle the matter. I told him I didn't have the money. I later wrote him an email and told him it was his responsibility to send me the money. Never heard back from him. Now realize it's a scam and I don't think I'll ever get the check or my money back.
