Auto City Of Clayton Bad customer service and auto repair RIPOFF CAR DEALERSHIP Clayton North Carolina
I purchased a car from them in March of 2020 after being in a car accident . After test driving the car i informed sammy of the knocking coming from under the dashboard on both side of car the air heat wasnt working and the breaks were squeaking and shaking and sammie stated that oh its a $7 dollar part we will have it fixed when you come bring down payment before signing paper work.
He said come abot 11 and he will have everything taken care of because i had to go to work immediately afterwards. I get there and he goes over the paperwork discussed warranty being 100 percent coverage because it was a bank loan needless to say because i wasnt feeling good he took advantage of that. Not only did he not fix the things that he said he fixed at purchase i took the car to chrysler for a free diagnostic and came up with a list of repairs to go along with the things he said he fixed including lower arm control 2 front tires need service Light and oil change light popped on and it worn upper sturts causing steering wheeel to grind when turning.
Needless to say after serveral phone calls and a couple visits about fixing at least the stuff that he said he fixed before purchase he threatens me with i will have you trespassed and to use your warranty to get it fixed so thats an addidtional 250 on top of the 3k that i just gave you for down payment because your mechanic wants to believe that he fixed stuff which is still clearly evident had not been fixed. I wonder do the bank and warranty company know that they are having to pay out for worked that should have been completed beforr purchase. I guess when the owner finds out you not a blond to car repairs and no you wonmt go out to dinner with him then you are own your own.

You test drove it. You knew there was issues, in fact you knew there were several issues. Apparently beliving that all of those issues could be fixed by a seven dollar part. Did you verify they fixed it BEFORE you signed the paperwork?
Of course not because you were not feeling well...yet still had to go to work right after this. In normal circumstances that is just stupid, and if I had a dollar for everytime someone was either sick, had to go to work right afterwards, or just released from the hospital and end up buying a car they aren't happy with I could buy a private island. If they ripped you off, you let them do it. But you took this stupidity one step farther. Not feeling well you still intended to go to work, it's people like you that have no clue that are the reason the Goverment has to step in and basically lock people in their houses.
I wonder do the bank and warranty company know that they are having to pay out for worked that should have been completed beforr purchase
- They don't really care. But if you tell them that the dealer should have fixed it, they will then deny your warranty repair and tell you to deal with the dealer.
I guess when the owner finds out you not a blond to car repairs and no you wonmt go out to dinner with him then you are own your own.
- No they just look for people with big sucker signs above their head...and yours was shinning bright.
