I bought a car and added the last payment due on my old lease for them to pay for me, at their suggestion. I found out they didn't pay when GMAC put me in for collection at almost 2x the original amount due, including fees and interest. When I used the name "Norman" (who I never met and never spoke to) they suddenly realized their error and made a ssettlement with the collection agency for less money than I gave them. Needless to say, my credit rating is now in the toilet.
