Complaint Review: Auto Marketing Systems

This firm is a ripoff. The market their ability to help you sell your car fast by giving the details to their networks and contacting people who supposedly are looking for a car just like yours. They called me relentlessly once my car appeared on Craig's List. I ignored for a few weekds then took the bait and believed what they told me and bought the service.

Once I bought it, they kept a low profile. When I wasn't getting any calls, I called back and tried to get the guy I originally spoke to. They would never connnect me to him. They sent me around to others manning the phones. I asked if my car was priced too high and they said no, the pricing was good.

I decided to drop the pricing on my car and did. Still no calls -- not one! I have sold many cars with generally good luck and they have sold pretty quickly.

They told me they would call to check in but when I called today to say why no check in I was told they did. Funny, no message was left on my answering machine like the many they left when trying to sell me the service.

I told the representative today that I was upset about not receiving a single call and she said they would put the info on my car out there again. I told her they were a ripoff, that I had never, ever not received a call on a car for sale in 30 days. Why had their service not connected me to a few potential buyers in one month? She said average time to sell with their service was 30 days? I asked if the average time to receive not a singel call was 30 days? She didn't have a response to that.

I will tell everyone I know to avoid this company at all costs. I see others on line have had my experience. I should have done my homework before spending my money on this shady company. Stay away form AMS Vehicle Sales/AutomMarketing Systems!!
