What a nightmare! I will never do business with this company again and warn anybody that does. If you think this company is doing you a financial favor, you're better off borrowing the money from a neighbor or family member.

I purchased a car in January 2002 with Auto One financing it. In July 2002 I had an accident that did $4,200 damage to my car where the other person had no insurance and my insurance had to pay for it. The place that repaired my car was negligent in the way they repaired my car. I found out in January 2003 that the front end frame is bent. I then tried to reopen my claim with my insurance company.

In August 2003 I had problems making my car payment and contacted Mr. Greg Lindsey. He promised he would help me work things out and try to lower my payments. It turned out that he "helped himself" to doing an illegal automatic withdrawal from my bank account. I did a dispute with my bank and won my case.

At the same time, Mr. Lindsey would not bother with any of my calls. At the same time, I was continuously harassed with up to 15 phone calls a day from Auto One concerning my account. I finally put privacy manager on my phone and the calls stopped. As soon as I took it off, the calls started again. I was contacted in mid-November to try to work out something but was given only 14 days to come up with any money. I was in the process of moving to a smaller house where the rent is cheaper due to the fact that I am the only one employed in this house. It was "rent" or "car". Sorry, but I chose the rent.

I also contacted my insurance company to reopen the original claim from the accident in July 2002. They did and I was in the process of getting the car repaired the correct way when Auto One repossessed it. They claimed that they would call my claims adjuster and discuss it with them and that they would investigate the entire problem. Needless to say, again, they lied. They have been very deceitful and rude and have done nothing but harass me from day one. I was also granted an extension on my loan but they took that back.

I recently found out that they sold my car but refuse to let me know to who. I don't understand how they can sell it with a bent front-end frame. I did a title search and the place that purchased the car apparently is non-existant. I called the city information and there is no listing for that place. Is it a bogus sale on Auto One's part just to say that they sold it and say I still owe them so much money?

There are so many unanswered questions that I have. I get no response except "When are you going to send the money?" Auto One says that it is not their problem, it's just business. Well, so did Enron. If anyone is interested in trying to start a class action suit, please e-mail me. You WILL get a response from me, unlike Auto One!!!
