I seem to be the only victim who got my money back from these crooks. It is for this reason that I will share this story with you. I hope that it helps.

Once I read the reports from others about AOW I knew I was going to have to get creative. I called on a Friday morning and I told Jeremy at the information desk that I had been speaking to someone who was going to do a TV News segment about people who have been ripped off or scammed. I told him that I just wanted to add this lady's name to my account because she would be calling to see about my refund. I told him that up to now I had been ashamed to tell anyone about how they would not send me my refund. I told him it had made me feel so stupid that I let that happen to myself. But now I have reached out for help and I am going to persue every avenue I can find to get my money back.

I told him the lady at the TV station was Kristi H... In actuality this was my daughter who lives around 100 miles north of me in a different area code. I told him that I also wanted to add my boyfriends name to my account because Kristi said I should not be bearing this entire burden on my shoulders. Also he is helping me pay the debt. ( I told him that night and he did call. He kept his cool so that they would think that Kristi had coached him not to yell or curse. ) I kept calling Kristi's name like we were personal friends already. He automatically assumed that she was an anchorwoman. lol. He asked me if I had spoken to Ryan about this. I said no I don't need to talk to Ryan I will just get a recording anyway. He insisted that I speak with Ryan right away. Ryan basically acted like he thought it was an idle threat.

I called every day the next week to check on my refund. When they acted annyoyed and said it was going to be on this Fri. I said I didn't want to be dissapointed again.

Thursday evening I had my daughter call. The first time it went to George's voicemail. After she gave her name they would not answer her calls again that night. She called over and over but they wouldn't answer. On Fri she started calling along with a friend of hers from the same area code with unknown name #only. Finally they gave up and answered. She told them how low down they were and she said if I didn't get my refund that day she was going to go statewide with her story.

They called her back with a confirmation # within 3 hours.

Joann,
Didn't you call several times that last day and state that you were going to commit suicide??? I think once they sent you your money it was so you wouldn't cry over the phone anymore and so that you wouldn't kill yourself. Don't forget to state the complete facts. Anyhoo... glad you got your money.
