Last tuesday I called JC Whitney to ask if they had an a/c compressor for a 2002 Saturn wagon. They said they didn't but would check their "sister company". They transferred me to a young lady who took my information, checked her system and said that they had them in stock. I placed an order and paid an extra $25 for 2 day express shipping. It's been 2 days and no word and no part. I called them and they said that they were out of stock. I told Customer Service that when I ordered the part and paid $432 the girl said they WERE in stock. He said that he didn't know anything about that and that they were out of stock and my money would be refunded. Great. It's 90 degrees out, my A/C has been broken for almost a week and they pulled this on me. What a bunch of deceitful ripoff artists. This is a really lousy company.

I had an issue with em once too.  I pointed this website to em and their response was the usual "weve been in business for a hundred years or so".

If you press hard enough, they will issue you a gift certificate for your next order.  But you have to press hard and borderline threaten.  Also discount "codes" they use are a racket too, that's another ripoffreport to read.
