Auto Protection Alliance Ken Hamilton Do Not Buy an Extended Warrante from this company! Garden Grove California
I was called by this company to purchase an extended warranty on my car. After my car was in an accident and it was totalled, I cancelled the policy. They continued to take out the payments even after I cancelled so I requested a refund. It has been over two months and I keep getting the run around. "It is in processing", "Ken Hamilton, the supervisor, is not at his desk". I call every day to no avail. This is the worse company to deal with. I can only imagine what kind of service I would have received if my car needed service. Stay away from these people! My attorney is now involved.

I was able to successfully receive my refund after filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. You need to continue to pressure them.

I have had a similar experience with Auto Protection Plus. While I have been able to successfully cancel my membership, have not yet received my initial deposit refund of $295. At this point, it is about 1 month overdue. I have called numerous times, and have been getting the run around. I have spoken with Ken Hamilton on two occasions, and he keeps saying he will "send an email" and the "mark the case as urgent" yet nothing gets accomplished. Now, I get Michael Haines on the phone, and he says Ken is not at his desk at this time. They said I should contact SunPath LLC to look into the refund but SunPath says they are not involved in the refunds. It is extremely frustrating! I would strongly advise others to avoid this company! They are con artists!
Were you able to get your money back with the help of your attourney? I am strongly considering legal action as well.
