Before considering employment with auto rescue of Chicago under coordinator Marcus Ford. Please think twice three times and then say no.When I first started working for him I signed a contract as a independent contractor. The contract stated you were on call 24 hours a day 7 day a week. However it didn't state that if you turn down a call the coordinator (Marcus Ford) would take it personal. After working for a few months every time I turn down a call he would threaten to take my equipment.

It didn't matter what the reason was it could have been death in the family.(example) My mother past the next day he asked when would I be back to work, he stated I am not been unsympathetic but I need you to cover your area.after two days he would say I have to come get your equipment all though I am renting the equipment weekly.I left my phone in the car as a mistake, I missed some calls, when I spoke with him he was very upset he said to me from now on when you go to the bathroom you let me know. How professional is that if I don't take a call I don't get paid.

I ask him could I please speak to the owner he told me no one could speak to the owner I am the owner. He said the owners did not want to be bother with our problems.I don't know how true that is but when I called dispatch to relay to the owners I would like to speak with them Dispatch called Marcus Ford .He stated from now on don't talk to dispatch about anything before speaking to him.On Wednesdays which is payday you would sometimes get your check at 10 o'clock pm although he had them since early morning he just made you wait because he could.Where did they find this person does he have any education, managing skills. How can the owners care they let someone like this run there company.

Choose Auto Rescue - What a Great Experience

It was a cold, dark, windy evening - NOT the time for a dead battery. Called Auto Rescue. Was promised help in about one-hour. Came much earlier. Marcus was the serviceman. I attempted to get out of my car. Marcus says 'No. Stay inside, keep warm. Roll down the window." Asked me to raise the hood. In the dark I couldn't find it. He quiockly opened my door, pulled the lever and closed the door. Then attached the wires and started the car!

Marcus was kind, professional and very capable. I did experience a problem - I had no cash to tip him. I gladly would have given him $20. Marcus gave me some helpful hints, wished me a happy thanksgiving and sent me on my way.

Marcus deserves to be recognized for fast, friendly and very capable service. He was a God-send when I was in a difficult spot without any resources! If you are ever in a similar situation I hope you have the privilege of having Marcus there to rescue you and your auto.

Copy of Contract

Hey you mentioned that they put you on call 24-7 and you have to sign a contract. I would really like a copy of that contract. It would help me in figuring out if this company is conducting business the way they should. A copy without any of your personal info would be great.

-Thanks
