Auto Sedge Consignors Auto Sedge Failed to deliver a boat after the funds were wired. Miami Florida
I purchased a boat from a private seller on craigslist. They said they were selling the boat through Auto Sedge Consignors. I Googled the sellers name and she was a doctor at Northwestern University. Her email was name@nationalmssociety.doctor There was even a youtube video of her giving a speech. I believe they used her identity without her knowledge. I corresponded with another victim and he was given a different seller name with a similar email address. I also Googled the consignment company name and saw nothing but glowing reviews. I checked them out on the Better Business Bureau website. Their information was in the website but there were no complaints filed. I wired the funds on 2/21/2018. The boat was to be delivered on 3/2/2018. It never arrived. On 3/9/2018 the website was no longer valid. The property manager at the address given on the website has never heard of them. I saw another review on this website for Autodemag Consignor. It is a similar address and an identical scam. Auto Sedge offerd free delivery, a 7 day money back guarantee if you found an issue with the product, and I was told the seller would have to pay to deliver the product back to the storage facility (in Atlanta, GA) if I was not happy. I filed a report with the FBI, FTC, Ohio Attorney General, Better Business Bureau, and local Police Department. I am also taking steps to recall the wire. I am 99% sure that none of this will matter. I am hoping that if someone does a search on this website for Consignor or Consignment, and the company sounds similar, then they will not be defrauded.

You send your money to somebody you don't know to buy a boat you've never seen or have factual knowledge that it even exists. Now you come here to cry about how you've been defrauded! "A sucker is born every minute!" .....P. T. Barnum
