Ii purchased an auto warranty 1 year ago. It was for 4 years. I called to cancel the warranty and got a recording saying their reserve ran out and they closed.
Is there any recourse to get my refund for cancellation from this company. It was supposed to be an A rated company.

A rated by whom?
These third party auto warranties are rarely worth the paper their printed on. Most are fly-by-night outfits that collect a lot of money, then disappear. Car dealers love to sell them because they make huge profits.
Go to the advanced search function on this site and visit the "auto warranties" section. You'll find plenty of reports similar to yours.
