Complaint Review: Auto Tire Monro Muffler

Auto Tire Monro Muffler I really wasn't going to write a review about this place. But here it goes. I took my vehicle in for an oil change in November of 2014....come to find out the previous owners didn't believe in oil changes and I needed the engine rebuilt. I was under the impression that I basically had to leave it there for repairs. So....me being a girl and a scared one at that I did. Took them a month to get my engine rebuilt.....A MONTH...and 490.00 out of MY pocket for a rental. The warranty only covered 3 days. Now my car is having issues again and its because someone used seal tight on my spark plugs..............Im no longer in St Louis, Im in Joliet Il. Im getting to the point to where I want to get an attorney......All I can say is thank GOD I bought the extended warranty! Kirkwood Missouri

I did get a call from Brittany on 4/29/15 after having to leave 3 voice mails.  Told her my issues and she asked for documentation.  I told her that I will have all of that information when I get my vehicle back.  She gave me her email address as well.  About a half hour later I got a call from Mike.  He said he was the district manager of the Kirkwood store.  (I know he he is, Ive spoken to him several times when my vehicle was at the Kirkwood store for a MONTH getting the engine rebuilt)  He told me that there was no lock tight used on my vehicle and that they don't even stock that.  Basically, what do I want.  By this time Im pretty mad because I feel hes calling me and Tyson Chrysler liars.  (I called Tyson and spoke to my service tech and he verified that it was lock tight and is saving the spark plugs for me.)

 I told him Id call him back (which I never did)  I did however, email Brittany this and I am still waiting for a response.  I also told her that I wanted to be reimbursed the 490.00 that came out of MY pocket when they had my vehicle for a MONTH.  I did let Brittany know that I dont want to talk to Mike.  It got to the point to when he never returned my calls when all of this started back in November 2014.  The warranty paid for 3 days.  I also want the bill from Tyson covered.  I should have the price of the new alternator that I put on 2 months ago reimbursed.  If push comes to shove,  I have an attorney ready to go.  

Did I mention that Auto Tire in Kirkwood had my vehicle for a MONTH????????  

Honestly, I probably would have let this go but Brittany replied to this and old feelings started coming back.  I bought this vehicle in June of 2014.  The previous owners didn't change oil....and yes, I bought it from a dealership.  This is a Chrysler Aspen.  I spent a lot of money to buy this vehicle and Im tired of this.  Ill never take my vehicle anywhere but to Tyson.
