Auto Wrap, Inc Sent me a rubber check from Keith's Air Conditioning, Refrigeration & Heating, Inc. of North Dakota
A check for $1,954.89, drawn on Keith's Air Conditioning, Refrigeration & Heating, Inc, 1160 West Main St, Valley City, ND 58072, was deposited on my front steps sometime following 10/30/18, via "Priority Overnight". I tried to call Keith's Air.. but the line was busy so I held onto it.
Shortly that day I received two (2) phone calls then a text message inquiring if I had received the check. After several back and forths of text messages I had checked online for scam and found "Auto Wrap, Inc." with 2 ripped reports. They texted - "We are not a scam."
I responded: We'll see. I'm putting check in bank to see if it bounces. After less than a week it did bounce. I had not spent any of it so all was fine for me. I pursued trying to reach Keith's and finally spoke to a person today, 11/8/18. She said: "Yes, they had been compromissed." I gave her as much information as I could.
Anyone seeking to make a bit more money with a car wrap should know there are legitimate companies and that is where I am heading to now. FREE MONEY IS NEVER FREE!
FYI: Keith's Air Conditions, Refrigeration & Heating, Inc., is a legitimate company with a solid and good FaceBook presence with good reports. I do not fault them. If you have further information that would help Keith's track down illegal activity perpetrated on them please let them know. Thank you.
