I purchased in March, 2012 (2) wheel bearings, (2)ball joints upper and (2) lowers  ball joint bearings and installed them, and now they are already wore out in June 2012. They are gaurenteed for 1 year. I paid more than $600 for parts. I installed them myself. They were installed correctly. When I returned them the customer service agent tells me, I should have bought the more premium parts than the premium parts that I bought. The advertisement states the parts are premium quality to OEM specifications. This is a rip off. They are not OEM parts. The parts I installed are sub-standard and should not be sold to customers thinking they will last. The expense to change them cost me 2 1/2 hours on just this part. While installing the upper ball joints they had to be returned because they didn't fit either. And oh by the way you don't get the ability to fill out the reason for return. They check the box as a returned item without any dissatifaction or any customers reason. I actually had to pay $60 more to get parts that "will work".  What a terrible way to do business. This gives all OEM's of America a black eye. No wonder so many people are buying foreign cars and parts. They just want somethiong better. The customer deserves to get quality. We should not accept this as a standard practice. I have a written complaint into the head quarters  but they have not contacted me back. Boycott Auto Zone. Say yes to Auto Value parts and customer service.

If you do know that OEM means "Original Equipment Manufacturer" then you are using the acronym incorrectly.

The OEM would have been Ford Chev, Dodge Honda Nissan etc. If the box does not have their Logo on it it is not OEM.

So you just ranted about how bad OEM parts are and didn't have any OEM parts. What you had were "After Market" and I bet they were "White Box" parts with no attributable manufacturer.

You really should complain about the cheapo parts store that sold you the junk and claimed it was "OEM Equivalent".

No doubt you were ripped off, just complain about who ripped you off, not the OEM part manufacturers that are proud to put their name on the box.

By the way, there are good after market parts, look for the well printed boxes and a slightly higher price.
