Okay firs off it took 10 days to recieve the obd scan tool with what was supposed
to be a software disc. Im not complaining about the ship time, I expected 14 days
coming from japan. the disc has icons, but they wont install or at least not on my computer.
I am running xp 2002 on a 1.6 mhz with 512 mb ram. I contacted the seller
Immidiatly upon finding this out no response. so 8 hours later I made another atempt,
and 24 hours later still he has not responded to my 2 email notifications.
I have tried to find the exact software on line and the only thing Ican find is
a co that wants to charge me $4.66 to sign up for thier download service they arnt even guarenteeing that the
software works or that they even have it. so I deciden not to comprimise my info with some
unknown flyby night job. next I found scantool.net whitch is what the
seller says the hardware works with they do have what apperars to have a free version.
I installed with very little problems.and I thought I was on my way to success.
I hooked up obd tool to connector and laptop, fired up the truck selected all the options,
and recieved the message that i was using a clone, and thier software wouldnt work since
there are multiple service problems with this manufacturer.
I dont know how the seller seems to have so many possitive marks, very interesting
how they are all or at least most "private sellers" I think this is a network of
sellers/buyers that know oneanother and build thier possitive marks on lowend purchases
so people build trust in them. some might be legit but most bad. I dont want anyone to
fall for the ebay OBd2 scan tool scam.
I think there might be good sellers, but beware and buy from a local seller or one that
I am goingto report this person to ebay and paypal and the credit card my paypal is connected to

I just found your complaint here. One of my clients told me about this. He said he found this complaint when he do some search via keyword autodoctor007.
I am very sorry for your unhappy experience. And I appreciate your update about this report also. Please allow me to explain something to you and other clients here.
1. About the shipping time:
Generally we will ship the packet(s) in 24-48 days after getting your payment. What you paid is only ordinary air packet with tracking No. but not express mail. Also you know, I live in China and you live in USA. So it is very good situation that you got the packets in 10 days.
2. About the quality:
We tested every item before shipping. So we are confident with our items.
But occasionally, maybe the CD will be damaged on the way. Then we can provide a link to download the USB driver and software.
However, in very few cases, inappropriate operation or long-distance transport, are likely to damage the hardware also. We provide replacement services.
Almost all the clients can get the tool worked after communication. But that is not absolute. Generally we found the returned items are ok at all.
When working with computers there are MANY variables so one must take their time and really find out what's wrong...Usually it is not the hardware (solid state electronics) and the software. Due to the many variables involved in using such a device (vehicle makes, models, years, different OBD protocols, laptop OS, service packs, baud rates, COM ports etc.)
3. About response time:
For we live in different time zone, generally we cant reply to you immediately. We promise to reply all emails or ebay message in about 12-24 hours. At most 48 hours. But occasionally, due to special circumstances, time will be longer.
And also you'd better sent your problem via ebay message. Sometimes the email will be lost.

Seller followed through roughly 30-36 hours later, he mailed me a link where I could download a good copy of software and appears to be working. I am satisfied, but disturbed that it takes this long for service, but answers immidiatly before the sale.
will be spending more time on the OBD this weekend since last weekend was shot waiting.
