Autohaus West Reseller of Damaged Cars Sold as Good, Lake Forest, California
I purchased my Mercedes CLS from these guys last year and everything was great...so it seemed. Turns out, they were kind enough not to let me know the car had been in a major accident and had frame damage which basically renders it about 30% less valuable than what they sold it to me as!! I bought the car for $32,500; one year later (due to the damage) they offered to purchase it back for an insulting $20,200. Less than 10,000 miles had been added to the car.
I do not recommend anyone does business with this company.

It's up to you to check out a used vehicle before buying. Even a simple inspection would have turned up the damage history.
There is a lot of junk sold every day to people who won't bother to do the least bit of homework before buying. If you look at the contracts used in car sales, you'll note that they pretty much disavow anything that you are verbally told, or that they didn't tell you. Anytime you buy a car using your "blind" method, you're merely rolling the dice with your money. Every dealer has some junk on the lot and someone has to buy it. I can guarantee you that it's not someone who does their due dilligence.
