Traded in a 97 Ford Escort with a free and clear title for a Dodge Caravan. Salesperson was recommended by a friend. Took possesion and vehicle leaked oil. Took back and paid to have it "fixed".

As time went on, it continued to leak, smoke, and began idling really rough. Tried to work with the company to no avail. Took to a local auto repair shop and told it needed a new engine.

Returned vehicle and was told my balance of contract was approx $4000 which they would forgive if I (a) paid $2000 or (b) paid another down payment of $1000 and bought another high mileage vehicle. These vehicle are bought at auctions and the down payment I suspect is what they have invested in the vehicle. The sales lot price is pure profit.

AAF "sells" the notes to Jorja Trading, Inc so they can hide behind the law and another company. The manager (Matt) used a very condescending manner when he spoke to me and told me he was not in the business of giving away vehicles.
