AutoMax Used Cars In Killeen, TX Bait and Switch Internet
Automax in Killeen, Texas tried to do a bait and switch on me when I came in the door looking for a certain make and model I saw on the internet. The car in question was a 2006 Dodge Durango with 43,000 miles. At Cars.com it listed at $12,995 but when I went to Automax they told me the car arrived on the lot four days ago. This meant it had to be inspected before anyone could buy it. Also, the rep quoted me a different price of $19,995. Then the switch started. "We have other cars with third row seating you may be interested in." Sorry Automax but I'm no dummy. Guess I will just take my business elsewhere.
On a lighter note, their waiting area in the used car lot has free fountain soda, coffee/cappuccino, and donuts for all. Come hungry, leave happy!
