Autonation Chrysler Dodge of Phoenix, Service Department Service Department kept car for weeks and returned it with a major part missing and blames me for it!! Phoenix Arizona
I brought my son's car in for a computer issue to a local garage and it was determined that I needed to order a part which ended up costing me over $1,000. The part was ordered for Autonation Chrysler Dodge in Phoenix.
The car was repaired but in a matter of days the part failed and I had to repeat the process and reorder the part. In a matter of a few weeks, you guessed it, the same issue.
This time the local garage took the car to Autonation Chrysler Dodge in Phoenix and had the diagnosis done again (with another charge of course). Autonation Chrysler Dodge said they would have to, for the third time, reorder and install the part. This dragged on for weeks. My son was without transportation for almost a month during this fiasco. Very difficult for a college student.
After finally getting the car repaired and several weeks of waiting with thousands of dollars spent, the worker at my garage decided that he would pick up the car for me since we had gone through so much crap with Autonation.
When he returned the car, there was a piece of exterior molding that was missing from the car. He did not notice this because he brought back the car at night (on his own time).
When I realized the situation, I called Autonation Chrysler Dodge and explained this to them. Adam, the person who worked on the car stated, "The piece probably fell off in the car-wash, I will find it for you." He looked but found nothing.
Now Autonation Chysler Dodge is saying because it was not me who picked up the car, he can do nothing about it. He has taken on an attitude that is so unprofessional, and so undeserving. I have spent over $50,000 on new cars with Autonation in the past 5 years.
I even contacted the main office and there was absolutely no help or resolution offered at all.
If you want to buy a car, avoid Autonation, if you need service done on your car, avoid this place:
