I purchased some Westin Nerf Bars from autopartswarehouse.com earlier this year for around $230. When I recieved the order, there were no brackets to install the bars. I called the company to inquire about the brackets and was informed that they come in a hardware kit for and additional $150.00. Now, when I purchased the item from their website, it had no mention of a hardware kit that was NOT included or that would be needed in addition to the bars. The company said I could return them, but I would be responsible for shipping. I disagreed as to why I should pay shipping. Auto Parts Warehouse stated it was no fault of theirs, so in this case I would be responsible for shipping. After a few more phone calls with the same result, as well as emails that useless, I went ahead and returned the item. The cheapest way to ship the item cost me $79.00. I feel that I should have been reimbursed for the shipping considering that the description of the bars I purchased was not accurate. I recieved no reimbursement from the company and was just out $79.00 for my trouble. Needless to say, I will not purchase items from this company ever again.
