I ordered online Weds. 8/8/07 a Haynes Manual for a 2003 Ford Excursion. After I was completely finished with the process, I saw that they didn't ask how I wanted it mailed. I wanted it overnighted (and would pay for it to be) so that we could work on the vehicle over the weekend. I called the 800# and was told that I would definitely have it by Friday anyway because it would come from the Ga. warehouse.

Friday, 8/9/07, I receive an email with tracking number saying that it was shipped and I would receive by 8/13/07. So much for the weekend.

Monday, 8/13/07, I received shipment. it was a Haynes Manual for a Toyota Camry.

Tuesday, 8/14/07. I called and told them they sent the wrong book. The guy who answered was Chinese, or foreign, and I could barely understand him. He put me on hold then came back and said that I could use this book for a Ford Excursion! I disagreed with him and asked him if I could speak to someone in authority. He said that they will only tell me the same thing. If I want to return it I have to get a return number in order to get my money back.

After going round and round with him about not being able to use the Camry book to fix the Excursion and not getting him to understand that I NEED the Excursion book, I hung up.

I called back and got some woman, who also sounded Chinese, Ria, or some such name, and she told me that they would email me the number so that I could return the book. No mention of how to get the correct book.

I received the email and replied to it with the details of what I needed and asking how I could get it.

They emailed me again and said that the number would be coming by email within 4 weeks, THEN in 4-6 weeks I would receive a refund. No mention again of how to get the correct book.

So I emailed back and said, "Sooooo, does that mean that I cannot get the Haynes manual for the Ford Excursion?" Their response the next day was, "Go ahead and keep the manual. Thank you for your business."

WHAT?!

I give up. who knows if I will ever see that $32 again. but does anyone need a Haynes Manual for a Toyota Camry??

Right bob,you know everything! nobody can dispute that.except monkeys on crack.but he might be on plant 9 right now.,on a probe mission. Or fighting with his mother-in-law. but his friend john should read it thats for sure but he would be busy painting tires.
