I delivered to Cliff Mohr for consignment of two vehicles for sale.

A 73 Alfa and a 94 Dodge hi top ram van. Both vehicles had items left for future buyer abd all certificates of title owners liturture etc.

About 1 1/2 months later noteing no action by the dealers I requested that they be returned to me with all original items left in vehicles. When driving from Pioneer Ca. to Cambell Ca. where the vehicles were stored (a period of over three hours) I was presented with the request for paying for paint and body work in the amount of $ 585.00 (work not authorized by me)

Myself and two other people picked up the cars. When getting gas we noticed no original items were left in vehicles. I conacted Cliff Mohr and he stated he would take care of it. There was damage to rear of Ram van that was not there before. Several calls and letters to the dealer have been unanswered and no personal property and extra keys have been returned to me. No consignment agreement signed (as per State Law). No place of business notice as per State law

I am Mr. Mohr's nephew and I was contacted by him to assist him in selling his van and Alpha Romeo. I met with him and picked up the van first and pointed out the damage to the van and the paintwork that would be needed. He agreed to provide the funds for the work, which I had done at COST.My body shop man will atest to the damage on the rear door of the van when I brought it to him. A few weeks later I picked up the Alpha and pointed out the work and painting that needed to be done. I got an estimate and told him what it was and he said that was fine with him as I was the expert. He sent me a check and I had the work done.

We received a ONE day notice that he was going to pick up the vehicles and I was out of town on business. A few weeks later I foung almost all of his personal things and have agreed to reimburse him for the lost items. He agreed and now will not even acknowledge this agreement.

We did not ask him for additonal funds for a painting bill as they were paid for right after the work was completed.

We do not defraud anyone at anytime. Anyone interested in our services may contact me directly at 408-482-7733 to obtain a references list of inquire about this incident.
