Autopialighting - BlingLights (eBay Merchant) BlingLights Advertise lights on eBay, Amazon. Sell lights that do not fit vehicles. If you do get your lights, they will be generics that do not stay on Houston Texas

This guy is a very slick ripof artist. He advertises lights under the name of your car. Example: 2006 Toyota Tundra. You get the lights (although some people do not receive them). They are generic round lights that will not fit most vehicles without very expenive retrofitting. This guy charges for returning merchandise that he knows is defective. Do a google search for Autopialighting or BlingLights and you can read how this guy has screwed with a lot of people. When you return the item, they somehow can't find it. They send nicely written emails suchj as:

Hi,We have not received your item in our post office box. Do you have a tracking number that you can provide us, so that we can present it to our local post office to help us better locate your package? We will check with the front desk of our post office, as sometimes they hold larger packages at the front desk. Once we receive your item, please allow a little time for us to inspect your item and to process your refund.

Then, you send them the tracking number and they say, "oops". Must be the USPS fault. They never send a refund. http://ebaybum-autopia.blogspot.com/

Hi,

We noticed that we did not touch on a few other concerns that you had. The fog lamps that you received are round as shown in your auction prior to your bidding. Our fog lamps mount independently of the factory mounting points, which is clearly listed in your auction under the FAQ section and is the first FAQ listed. Our fog lamps use their own unique mounting system to mount to the vehicle. We ship lamps based on the year and make of the vehicle. We shipped you the set of fog lamps that hundreds of earlier model Tundra owners prefer based on their responses to us. However, we do have certain bumper style customers that prefer a larger size lamp (but that is typically for the current Tundra body style) that we are also willing to exchange for you if you prefer a larger size. Either way we are very easy to work with and do not charge customers anything to return or exchange an item in the form of any restocking fees. However, in order to process a refund or exchange we must physically receive a returned item. This is not a policy that is unique to our company, but is something that even Amazon.com and Buy.com abide by. They can only refund a customer for something that has been physically returned. We must have been informed by our post office staff that we received a returned item in order to process that return. If we are not notified by them, then we need some form of tracking to locate the package, so that we can process the return. We are trying our best to help, but need some sort of proof of a returned item if our post office staff has not notified us of a returned item.

Autopia Lighting issues refunds or exchanges with no problem if an item is returned to us

Hi Angelica,

We cannot speak on behalf of Blinglights because we are not affiliated with that company and do not know how they conduct their business practices. However, Autopia Lighting writes nice responses to our customers because that is how we prefer to conduct our customer service....in a very polite, friendly, and respectful manner. We do kindly instruct in the returns info for all of our customers that are returning their items to purchase tracking information for their returned item, which is even FREE when the postage is purchased online. We do this because it helps us to locate any packages that are taking longer to arrive than expected and this is why we ask our customers to buy or receive FREE tracking online when they send their items back to us. We also let customers know that it does take 4-7 business days (not including weekends) for us to receive your item, inspect it, and to process a refund or exchange. However, the tracking number can come in handy if the customer doesn't want to wait the 4-7 business days and wants a refund sooner because we can just use the tracking number to see if it arrived back to us. If it did, then we issue the refund or exchange immediately without even inspecting the item. This can be risky for us because the item may come back as used, damaged, or incomplete, but we still provide an expedited refund or exchange because we are here to make our customers happy in any way possible. We accept all of our returns at a USPS PO Box address, which is what the largest companies do because it is the most secure method of receiving payments and returns because the PO Boxes are located at government post offices that are constantly monitored by post office employees for any new items that come into our PO Box. If there are any new items in our PO Box, then we are notified immediately by USPS staff. We can be contacted at any time at autopialighting@sbcglobal.net for additional help.
