I bought a honda odyssey van which was suppose to be in very good condition with no mech defects. When it arrived by out of state shipper the transmission did not work properly and failed within two weeks. Cost thousands to fix. Autosdirectonline would not help at all and stuck me with a defective car. I have been had by these crooks.  STAY AWAY FROM THEM AT ALL COST.

Currently Working to Amend Situation

We are currently working towards a solution for this client. Although our vehicles are clearly sold AS-IS, and we do encourage third-party inspections prior to purchasing from us, we understand that occasionally a previously used vehicle may still have an issue that we were unaware of, and therefore we may have to go beyond what the law requires us to do in order to make a client feel satisfied.

We would like to apologize to this client for any inconvenience, and will be working towards a solution for them.

We consistently sell 200 vehicles per month, and as potential clients can see, we have a very small amount of issues that occur in relation to that volume of business.

FALSE OFFER

#6Author of original report

Fri, February 10, 2012

The offer to repurchase or reimburse by autos direct was a false offer not offered in good faith. I talked with Sean, submitted paid bills and got no answer at all, which is just how they handle these situations. The offer was to appease the unsuspecting public by making them think something would be done when there was no intent to follow through with their promise. This only goes to show what real con men these people at AUTOS DIRECT ONLINE are how they mislead the public. The proof is right here just read their offer.  BUYER BEWARE, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.

Another Case For PTB!

#6Consumer Comment

I'm a little perplexed...how did the transmission operate during the TEST DRIVE?  In fact, how did the engine look, sound and perform during that TEST DRIVE?  How did the body look at that TEST DRIVE?  Did all the "lines" match up?  During that TEST DRIVE, did all the accessories work?  During the TEST DRIVE, was there any smoke?

What's that?  I didn't hear you.  Oh, you said you noticed all these things wrong with the car AFTER it arrived by out of state trucking company.  In other words, you bought this car SIGHT UNSEEN...a USED car you bought WITHOUT having the slightest clue as to its real condition.  Do you now actually expect people with even a moderate amount of intelligence to sympathize with you?

So tell me, what is wrong with you?  Do you really think this was a smart thing to do?  What exactly happened to you to make you (and I use this word loosely) "think" buying a used car, sight unseen was the right thing to do?

You can cry, whine, stomp you feet and blame the dealership all you want but in the final analysis, YOU opened the door to be defrauded, you were not a smart consumer, you and only you played the role of SUCKER and swallowed, hook, line and sinker by doing something so incredibly STUPID by purchasing a used car, sight unseen.  Incredible.  Absolutely incredible!

As per P. T. Barnum:  "A sucker is born every minute."  You have proven his point.
