I bought a very nice used mercedes suv from autos direct online.  At the time of purchase, they informed me that the power steering pump and rack and pinion was bad and needed replaced before I picked the truck up.  I said great.


 A week later, I finished the sale, and took my truck home.  After about a week, I noticed it was leaking fluid, and figured the first thing to check was the power steering fluid, which I was correct.  I called, Ryan told me to stop in anytime, and they will check it out for me, (I live an hour away), which I did.  When they looked at it, they said they needed to order a part, and when it came in they would call me.  

Three days later, I am out and the power steering pump blew, and yes I was keeping fluid in it.  I called and left a message that night about it, and wanted to know if they wanted me to tow the truck to their shop in the morning or to tow it locally and they could send the parts here. I received no phone call the next day, which was friday.

I called three times on friday, and emailed, with no response.  I knew it was the pump, I had a friend look at it, and he said it looked brand new so I saw no reason for me to have to purchase another new pump.  All I wanted was the warranty information so I could get it repaired. 

 My friend owns a body shop, so the following Monday he came and picked up the truck, and we proceeded to continue calling them to find out what they wanted me to do.  When I finally got them to call me back, they told me they would send the new parts to the shop by me.  Two weeks later, I am still waiting for said parts, while paying for a rental car this entire time.  

The last 3 days, me and my mechanic have called, and called, and called with no response whatsoever.  I finally had to contact my attorney who contacted them today, and he says they will now send the parts.  In no way should I have been put through this, and I should not have to pay for this rental for this long because of their negligence.
