I won a vehicle austion in Cincinnati, OH. I received several emails and phoine calls from Autostar Transport requesting to transport the vehicle to my location.

I contracted Autostar Transport Express to transport the vehicle. I was told that a driver was going to pick up the vehicle that day. They took a deposit from me, then amazingly their driver backed out and I did not receive any additional information.

I had to make several phone calls and was lied to consistently.  After 1 week I requested a refund and was denied, even theough they had not lined up a new driver, they only lined up excuses.

I was forced to go with a new shipper to get the vehicle to me. This company is a sham and should not be in business.  I have phone call recordings and emails to prove this.

Lies to Cover-up Stealing!

Auto Star Transport first tried to state that I was not a customer when I gave a bad review on the website "Transport Reviews". I submitted proof that I was a customer which included the signed contract and my credit card debited. Its funnyhow they have resorted to lieing to cover up the fact that they did not do the job they were paid to do. Misrepresenting my status as not being a paid customer is really low. But my credit card was charged for a service that I did not receive.

Their client representative took ALL of the auto pick-up information from me during a phone call that I have recorded. In a second phone call, this same client representative also stated that she had spoken to the contact person at the auto yard, stated his name and proclaimed to have all the information that was needed for this transport. I have several emails showing this promise also and shipping details.

I was promised that this car would be picked up and it never was. When the car was not picked up, they charged my credit card as if it had, days later. This company had a week to make good on this and never did. They stopped taking my calls and ignored my demand for services paid, then sent me an email stating that they refused to refund my credit card charge. Cowards!

I ended up hiring another company to transport the vehicle.

Auto Star Transport Express are thieves and have a very bad record with the BBB, and Transport Reviews, and  I will never do any business with them again, or refer anyone.

As a matter of fact, during any online business, I will make a point of mentioning their name as a company to beware of.

We are very sorry that the customer feels they had a bad experience with
AutoStar Transport Express, but we can assure you that this is just another
example of a customer who refused to accept the terms and conditions for the
agreed contracted dates for which they signed and accepted. Customer placed
their order on July 14th with a first available release date of July 15th. As
explained prior to placing the order and in the contract they signed, the first
available pickup date is NOT a scheduled appointment date, but rather the first
day the car would be available if a carrier were in the area. On July 15th, we
were able to locate a carrier who was passing through the area and had a last
minute cancellation. We immediately dispatched to the carrier and notified
customer. It was then that the customer informed us that the pickup location was
only available until 3:00pm that day. Unfortunately, the carrier had a schedule
to keep and was not going to able to make it there by 3:00pm. We had to cancel
that carrier and begin our search again. On July 20th, the 4th business day of
our contracted agreement, customer sent an email wishing to cancel the order. By
contract to which the customer agreed to by signing and returning said contract,
if the order is canceled prior to the 10th business day, the deposit is
non-refundable, and is not refundable when our services have been rendered. Why
did Mrs. Green sign and agree to the contract, then demand her money back when
she is the one that breached the contract? We did locate and assign a carrier,
however the pickup contact designated by the customer could not make themselves
available for the carrier at the available time. We found a carrier once and
would have found another if given the chance. Do not believe the false
accusations that we stopped taking her calls. One of our representatives spoke
to her everyday from the day the order was placed until the day that she
cancelled. Just another example of what some people will say or do, to try and
get their money back.
