World Auto Parts, listed as being at 233 Tresca Rd. in Jacksonville, has had three attempts to rebuild my car's electronic control unit (ECU) at a cost of $804.94, additional towing and labor charges, and the non-use of my car for five months. At this juncture they refuse to refund my money in full, minus an $89.95 initial bench test fee, AND they refuse to return my ECU until I agree to their absurd settlement offer of only a half-credit. At this point, it's pretty clear that they never did a single thing to "rebuild" my ECU.
Sadly, I did not think to use Google Maps and Google Earth to check out the company. Had I done so, I would have clearly seen that the picture of the companys "corporate offices" used on their website in no way matches reality. This has been confirmed in a phone call to the Jacksonville police department.
