I went to Autotrader.com I was just curious of what they would offer me for my 2010 Toyota Yaris....
According to NADA and KellyBluebook the car is worth about 11,000 and about 9,000 trade. They emailed me an offer of about 6200.00 this is a complete and total Ripoff...Buyer Beware of them. And any dealer who offers you a price that is much less than what your vehicle is really worth... Buyer Beware of them!!

Someone offering you less than you think something is worth is not a ripoff whether it's a car or anything else. I would be surprised if a car dealer ever offered what you want, at least as a first offer.
That's just where you start to negotiate. If you never reach an agreeable price, you just say, no thanks, and move on. I've done that many time and I expect most other people have too.
That's how any transaction is done.
But you are correct, Buyer Beware is good advice.
