In June of 2012, I purchased a car and had to use alternative finacing. Autotrakk was that company, no problems paid as promised. Then in October of 2013, I sold the vehicle when I learned that even though they do not charge interest, they charge a "rental" fee, even though I am paying for the vehicle on a so called lease. They did not charge me MI sales tax monthly but PA sales tax.

When I sold the car, I began getting harrassing phone calls from a Jim Parrish and Arlene L. Lopez stating that they were kind enough to finance a car for me, and why was I not paying for it? Well, "I do not have the car anymore!" Well, we have not recieved any money so you are responsible until we do. Also, they asked for me to call the finance director of the dealership and find out why the money has not been sent. "NOT MY JOB!"

Now a month later I am still getting harrassing mail, and when I call Autotrakk they have it documented but, no one knows exactly what is going on and I still have to pay, oh and they placed a black mark on my credit report for a car I do not have anymore

You can't just sell a vehicle without paying off the remaining balance of the loan/lease. How did the new buyer of your vehicle get title to the car if you never paid it off?

Read your contract. Get the payoff balance and pay it off. You will destroy your credit even further than it is already if you continue to ignore the balance on the vehicle. If it is a lease there will be "payoff" terms too.

Do the right thing for your new buyer so they can register the vehicle in their name. Besides, the whole time it remains registered in your name you are liable for any accidents or other liability for the drivers of your vehicle. It's time to grow up now.
