Land Lords Beware. Attorneys use your money to pay tenants to leave rather then evicting as you expect. Attorneys take profits while the landlord pays thousands. It's a big money making machine for the attorneys in Southern Ca right now. Renters are notified by the attorneys soon after you file the eviction to call these firms or the firms they work with on a regular basis. They then do everything the attorney tells them to do to get the land lord to actually pay them to leave rather then continue with the crazy legal fees they continue to charge while the tenant lives rent free! Either way the attorney wins! They WILL NOT put the eviction on the tenants record so the tenant can keep coming back to them and doing it over and over. They will take the same delinquent tenants and keep screwing the Land Lords. The more renters that know about this the better for them. They do evictions for a "living". They do not want this to stop. Before you hire this firm to evict a BAD tenant. Go to the courthouse and watch how many of these "pay off" deals they are doing rather then actual evictions per week! Don't be a victim.
