I was looking for a local florist to deliver a sympathy bouquet for same day delivery. I called first thing Monday morning since the family would be leaving Thursday morning for the out of state services. When I called Ava's (Terrible Customer Service) Flowers they told me they were definitely a local company and could easily deliver my arrangement that day. Lie and Lie. I should have known better. I was disconnected the first time I called and after finally getting through to someone I get a bubble gum chewing moron without no brain in her head.

Assuming the order had been delivered as planned, I waited a day and reached out to the family to make sure they received my arrangement. Fortunately I did because they informed me the order had just been delivered.....it was 7:00 pm on Tuesday. When I called Wednesday morning to complain, after getting disconnected a few more times I finally left a message for a manager to call me back. Believe it or not I did indeed receive a return phone call. The manager claimed the driver tried to deliver the bouquet but there was nobody home (which was not true). He claimed they attempted to deliver my arrangement twice that day which I do not believe. I had left explicit instructions for the order to be delivered on Monday. Why in the world would they take down my phone number and the recipients phone number if they didn't call either of us when there was nobody at the door. An why did they wait until 7:00 that night to deliver the already late bouquet?

I demanded a new bouquet be delivered the following Monday and the manager said he would look into it. I called Ava's (We Lie To Our Customers) Florist on Monday afternoon to verify if indeed a new bouquet was being delivered. This time, although I did get disconnected once, I spoke to a woman who sounded like she knew what she was talking about. She checked on my order and I was told the flowers were out for delivery and I would receive an email confirmation once the flowers were delivered. Never received an email confirmation...........because the flowers WERE NOT delivered.

I called the florist again on Tuesday afternoon to speak to a manger and got the run around. Manager was supposedly on the phone with other customers and would call me back....stilll waiting. The individual who answered the phone told me they went to the home to pick up the "old" bouquet but there were unable to retrieve it. No further explanation was given. They wanted to retrieve the "old' flowers? REALLY?? Who does that? They were seriously going to go to the door, empty handed, and ask for the old bouquet back. If they were able to retrieve the bouquet they would then come back later with a new arrangement. That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard of.

I sit still waiting for a return phone call. I promised myself that I will not let this go until a new bouquet gets delivered. Did I mention the bouquet cost $99.00?

My mission is to spread the word about how terrible this company is in hopes something changes.
