Complaint Review: Avalon Villas Apartments

I have only lived here for six months and hate the place. So far I have seen 5 fights in the parking lot and 3 people stabbed. Those people still reside here even after the cops have been called continuously, and a report has been given to the managers office.

They took away some of our dumpsters and now people pile trash all around them. There is constantly trash all over the parking lot now taking up spaces. Completely unsanitary and with a field right next to the apartment it is causing HUGE bug problems.

Also since I have lived here the water has been shut off over 5 times with no notification ever. Considering water is a basic necessity you would think that it would be considered an emergency. They neither care nor try to help with anything. I hope that no one has children and needs to feed them! It is sad that I have gotten so used to this happening that I stock up on water bottles and distilled water jugs.

Every time they do stuff with the water there is a HUGE SPIKE in our Water Bills. Which conveniently, like most apartments, gets paid to the complex. I didn't know that it was in our lease agreement to pay for their mistakes!! In fact I would think I would be correct in saying that it could probably be a violation of the lease on their part!

I have had pipes in the attic of my building snap and bust holes in my roof instead of fixing the problem in the attic they just fix the roof so it will happen again.  I would never recommend someone ever moving in here. This place is a complete rip off they say that they are trying to fix the problems that are going on here but instead of fixing them they are just covering them up.
