Complaint Review: Avalon woodland Hills

When we were looking for a unit at Avalon apartments in Woodland Hills. They showed us a unit facing an open area as a view. When we asked if there would be any constructions going on they confirmed that no construction project would start in the future; in any case they always would get to know about any plans  at least a year in advance. Once we signed a one year lease suddenly the constructions are started and we have noise problem, dirt pollution, bug problems which are highly unhealthy. When we complaint at the leasing office they told us we could move if we wanted if so we had to pay transfer fees and all costs covered by our self or if we decide to stay then we have to live with whatever comes our way. Basically it's been 5 months now and they do not want to help us!! It is not just our unit. Dust has covered most parts of Avalon. Even at the pool area you breath in the dust and hear the noise. Do not live there, they tell you all the things you want to hear and once you sign the lease they do not help!! It is waste of money..I wish someone told me what I am telling you prior to moving in.
