Avangate Billing for Services Not Rendered Redwood Shores California
I have never done business with AVANGATE nor purchased anything from them, but the company billed me for my "renewal." The company has an address in California, but it also has an address in the Netherlands and also
Romania. I will dispute the charge with my credit card company, but be on the lookout for Avangate charges on your credit card. When I attempted to contact them, I got an Undeliverable notice from the server.
It concerns me that a company in Romania with which I have no business is billing my credit card for services I have not ordered.

You may need to check your credit report. You can check your credit for free only ONCE a year from each credit report bureau by going to www.annualcreditreport.com site. You will have to answer a few questions to verify who you are when you go to each credit bureau via the site. Remember, this is not FICA credit report (with score) but it is a report showing what are on your credit report. If you want a credit report with score, you will have to pay for it.
