Avenue Apartments ripoff! They took $1000 from me and closed their office, no contact whatsoever. Dorchester Massachusetts
Avenue Realty is a real estate company located in Dorchester MA. They specialize in apartment rentals and advertise in many of the local newspapers. I went to them last week because I needed to move on February 1st, I was told that I would need to pay $1000 fee for the apartment, which I did. I then tried to call the next day with no answer, the day after that was the same.
I found out that they have closed there offices and have scamed many others. The guy I was working with was named Lee. I've never been so completely ripped off with absolutely no word from either the company or representitive. I'm not sure what can be done about this now but I wanted to spread the word.
