Avlimil Rip-off! Unauthorized Credit Card Charges. Cincennati Ohio
On Feb. 2, I ordered a free 30 day sample of Avlimil after seeing a tv commercial about it. I went to the web site and ordered it and my check card was charged just the s & h.
I received my shipment and I thought... that's that. Well, today I was looking over my online checking account statement and saw a charge of $70.00 that posted to my account on Feb. 25.
I was like, what the heck's this?! So I called the number that showed up on that particular transaction and a CSR got on the phone with me. I nicely asked why I was charged the $70.00 if I had never told them I wanted additional pills yet. (It hasn't even been 30 days.) He said I was enrolled with the Managed Care Program. He was very rude saying that large and clear before the SUBMIT button on the web site I ordered it on.
Believe me, I am very computer and contract literate. (I'm a leasing agent, I look through contracts all the time). Had I seen that, I would have not clicked the SUBMIT button. I'm not stupid!
He said the shipment should be on the way and I wouldn't get my money back on that one but that he would cancel my membership. I said, "well, what if I send it back?" and he said "No refunds!"
So I said, "OK! Have it your way! I'm fixing to call my bank to file a dispute and my bank will give me my $70 back. So it'll be between you guys and the bank." My bank is refunding my money and it'll post Monday evening while they investigate.
If you're thinking about getting the free 30-day sample, don't do it! Unless you don't mind getting money taken out of your account without even being given a chance to say if you like their product or not.
I hope this report was helpful.
