I received a call from this company, offering a credit card with a 2,500 credit limit, but I would need to pay a fee of 349.00 to receive this card. I was hesitant about the offer but decided that I would like to have the card. I gave them my information, and was referred to another individual for verification of my info. I was told at that time the conversation was being recorded. Since I was telling the truth I found nothing wrong with that. I was also told at that time that if I didn't have the money in the bank for the processing fee, that when I received my card, I could get a cash advance from the card and deposit into my account to cover the fee. I was given a number to call for activating my card when I received it and also a customer number.

Nothing happened for quite awhile and I completely forgot about the phone call, I just assumed, since they did not debit my account right then and there, they wouldn't (for one thing I at the time didn't have 349.00 in my account). However on 12/8, when checking my account on the internet, I discovered that my account had been debited for 349.00. Still expecting to get a credit card, I did nothing. A couple of weeks went by and I called them and to my amazement couldn't speak to a person, I instead got a voicemail message saying leave my account number and they would return my call in 24 to 48 hrs. I let 48 hrs. go by without hearing from them and called back very upset that I had not heard from them.

When I returned home that evening someone had called and left me a message that they were waiting for confirmation from their bank and that as soon as they received that my package would be sent within 7 to 10 business days. This was around the 15th of 16th of December. I again called, left my name and account #, but received no reply from them. I waited another several days and called very angry, stating that I had called left messages on more than one occasion with no response from them, and that I was going to the States Attorney if I didn't hear from them. The next day I received a call and was at home and was able to speak to the person, who explained that my package had been sent and I should receive it within the next several days.

Well on Jan. 5th I received in the mail not a credit card, but a letter stating "Congratulations and Welcome th Avlis Discount Travel". Can you image my shock. They are congratulating my decision to join their vacation value club. I was not then nor now interested in a travel club. This is a pure RIPOFF.
