Dumb & Dumber!

I bought the Ad hype & purchased the 'trial' of Avoir Anti-Aging Serum & Velour Eye Cream for "shipping charges only".  I stated clearly that I did not want a subscription or any other promotions attached and days after the trials came I discovered a second shipment of the same products in my mail - with close to $200.00 ($98.73 and $94.53) charged to my credit card. Unbelieveable!

To add to that pain, I do not have sensitive skin and yet my face has literally been burned by the serum, leaving unsightly - uncomfortable dry red patches all over my face. The skin under my eyes is red/inflamed and I feel a near constant stinging from it, which was incredibley disheartening to deal with during our family Thanksgiving and the important birthday celebration I hosted for my husband this same weekend.

I plead my case to customer service this afternoon who (laughingly) offered a rediculous 35% discount to keep (enjoy?) the products I was requesting to return for full credit. Why would I agree to pay for something that I purchased as a trial, which has also damaged my skin & caused the discomfort it has? I told her that I want to return them and get them out of my house!

After a long tedious discussion (and many offers to spend more), the bottom line: They offered to refund a total of $144.95 - which disgusts me considering my circumstances and I pray that they are stopped before others are scammed as so many of us have been. These people should be in jail and sued for a 1000 x more for this scam. Lesson learned, I suppose, and we'll see if they hold to their promise of a partial refund.

Buyers beware! and if a joint lawsuit is in the works, I would be happy to join.
