In July 2014 I responded to an online survey participation request from Amazon.Com.  It was a 30 second survey and I was unable to navigate away from the survey site.  Bear in mind, I was not surfing the internet looking for skin cream.  I was looking up prior purchases in my Amazon shopping cart when I was contacted, and so thought this survey was legitimate.  After completing the survey, I was given several choices of several "rewards" for participation.  This was the start of my problems.

The survey stated that the "reward" was a "free" bottle of Avoir skin cream and I was informed that I would be charged $4.95 for shipping and handling.  This was represented as a "reward" for an action on my part (the taking of the survey) and I did not find this product by looking through various web sites on the internet offering skin care available from this company.  My credit card account was charged the $4.95 and I received confirmation of the $4.95 charge which was what I had agreed to.

I received the sample of the skin cream in a small corrugated carton.  No literature, no return instructions or anything else was inside this carton, onlu the shrink-wrapped sample.  I never saw any advertising literature, either via email or sent to me under separate cover stating what future shipments would contain, should I decide to purchase them and there was no web site or email information as to how to contact these people.  In looking over my credit card charges, I discovered the disputed August 13, 2014 charge of $89.15 and contacted my credit card company.

On October 19, I was again contacted to participate in an online "survey" by Amazon.com.  It was exactly the same proposal as I had previouslyu responded to and which I am currently being charged for, right down to the other "persons" responding to the "survey experience" where the guy said he "signed up fo all the gifts listed".
