Avon Avon Skin So Soft Facial Hair Remover , Internet
I used the Avon SSS Facial Hair Remover for the first time today I sat and read the instructions that came with the product. It says to gently apply a thick layer over the hair that is to be removed. Do not rub in. Leave on for 2 1/2 to 8 min and wipe with a luke warm wash cloth.
I followed the directions pretty close. I didn't put on a thick layer I put on a thin layer. And left it on for 2 1/2 minutes. Wiped it off with a damp wash cloth and all of a sudden the burning sensation began. Immediately my face was red and felt like it was on fire. So I held a damp cloth over my face trying to cool it down. After removing the cloth I noticed all of the raw marks that were left on my face from where this product ate the skin away. I have been applying burn jell to it but not before taking multiple pictures of the proof.
Avon should not be allowed to sell a product that is going to eat skin away! This is unbelievable!

Let me start by saying that I'm sorry for what you've been through. i can't imagine how miserable you must have been and probably still are. However, this is not Avon's fault. I'm an Avon rep and if one of my customers came to me with your story I would have given them an instant refund and helped them complain to my company. What you had was an allergic reaction to the product. I have been using sss facial hais remover for over four months and have never had a problem.
