Ron and his wife came out to our property and quoted us for a job which we accepted and scheduled. It was an exterior masonry job and involved minor inside wall construction. We never heard from them again and were trying to find out when they were coming out. We had a window being installed on July 10th and needed the work done before the window installation.

We have no problem if they elected not to do this job, however, after countless calls and even stopping by their home to meet with their son Cortland - Ron did not have the courtesy to contact us or call us back - We never knew they were not going to show up, but it's a pretty good assumption they were not! Also, Courtland tuck pointed our chimney early last month and informed us the brick residue will rinse clean after a few rains - not true!! A professional masonry person informed us the brick must be chemically cleaned. Avon Bay may boast about all the jobs they have done and the supposed happy customers - this is simply not true when they treat customers the way they treated us.

What you say is simply not true - the chimney was not cleaned properly. Our other chimney looks like new brick while the one you did looks old because it is covered with excess masonry residue. Cortland said it would wash off and it never has - another mason said it needs cleaned. All you had to do was call us back. We told you and you knew the window was being installed July 10th. If you could not do the work - fine. Just have the professional courtesy to call your customers back as we left multiple messages!!

Yes we did your job previously and told my son it looked better than the other chimney you have. We were scheduled to do both jobs at the same time. I did not change the dates. My son told you we would get back to it when we could . Sorry that didn't work with your schedule as we are extremely busy.
