AVS4YOU - Online Media Technologies Ltd. Utterly Ridiculous, Inexcusable, and Unexplainable London Internet

You know it's so hard to believe after a company advertises their 2 membership programs for unlimited downloads until both memberships expire, that you would only be able to use their programs on 1 computer. For example if I go into a store or online to purchase Microsoft, what are they going to say, "Oh...sorry 1 user per household." It's complete madness, how this company indeed has great programs, but I can only download and use those programs on 1 computer, for a lifetime.

Even if my system crashes and my old CPU is no longer any good. Oh..no if this happens I must pay another membership fee, regardless of the active account I cannot even use because I have changed computers. It makes no sense at all, as a matter of fact, it makes complete non sense. Plus you can file many reports to the support team, but there's no guarantee when they will respond, seeing as how it's there only source of customer contact.

Galina, are you still with AVS4You?

Has the corporate policy changed? You stated that

"And I would also like to explain our position concerning our licensing policy. We provide users with a 1-year or unlimited license key and they get the opportunity to download more than 25 programs and activate them with this one key. This is our corporate policy."

That was exactly how I interpreted the wording of the advertising on the AVS4you site. But it is not what I was told today by your online help person.

I paid for the unlimited license, but it only works with one program. I was told that is because I only bought one program. Can you please verify what is correct?

Hello,

My name is Galina Smirnova. I represent AVS4YOU project.

First, I would like to express our apologies for the inconvenience occured and for the negative emotions you got.

And I would also like to explain our position concerning our licensing policy. We provide users with a 1-year or unlimited license key and they get the opportunity to download more than 25 programs and activate them with this one key. This is our corporate policy. And on the page for products purchase, we give a special link to our FAQ's. There we provide detailed information on registration terms and license types. We also include the information on per-computer licensing in programs EULAs.

In your report, you also mentioned our technical support team. I consulted with our support speciliasts. Unfortunately, you have provided not enough information on the Ripoff Report site to find your personalia in our database.

But I would like to notice that the common reason for a so-called 'no reply' from us is simple, it is anti-spam settings that do not let our emails come through. I advise you to check your spam folder and you may find several emails from our support team.

I sincerely hope that we can resolve the issue and I invite you to write to me directly at Galina.Smirnova@avs4you.com

I promise you to help.
